Payment for Private Duty Services is the responsibility of the individual. MediCARE and Private Health Insurance plans DO NOT pay for these types of custodial services. If you have a Long Term Care Insurance Policy, check with your insurance agent to confirm if this policy assists with cost for private duty in-home care. Many of these policies will assist with the costs of Private Duty Services. Your agent should advise you on the terms, how many hours a week authorized in your plan and for how long they will assist with the costs. This is a good benefit to consider. If you have MediCARE or other insurance that will cover all or portions of the medical care you require in the home, we can work with you to arrange Home Health Care or Hospice Services. These services can be used in conjunction with Private Duty Services to meet all your needs in the comfort of your own home. |
